An interest in design and an interest in fashion always seem to go hand-in-hand, and it's the case for me. I had the greatest time decorating my own house three years ago (see Monday's post for a pic of my dining room), and still seem to be making constant changes and updates to it. A couple in my neighborhood recently hired me to decorate their living space - they love our house, so it won't be much of a stretch for me to do theirs. The space consists of living room, breakfast room, and dining room. They have two young children, so things need to be pretty kid-proof and comfy. Here are a few pieces I'm considering for them.

A friend of mine suggested I do a blog post about my house and I'm working on it. I figured that taking photos for that post would be a good time for me to actually learn how to use my fancy new camera, so it's taking me a while. These tips, from Sara at Running from the Law (a great St. Louis blog that you should be reading) have been really helpful.
