For whatever reason, male personal styling clients have been coming out of the woodwork in the last month. Apparently, other stylists in town prefer not to work with men's personal styling clients, so they're all coming to me? Bring it. When I go into the typical guy's closet, someone who doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about clothes, there's one thing that is almost always missing: a great pair of dark wash jeans.
More and more men rarely wear a suit and most workplaces are business casual, if not "business casual, jeans allowed". Even the most business-y of my business clients only wears a suit a few times a year. Even so, guys still seem to think that jeans can only be worn for weekends, and what they currently have can only be described as "dad jeans" (google it). What they're missing is a great pair of dark wash, slim fit jeans. These jeans will pull double duty for business casual and weekend wear. Add a nice dress shirt and shoes and you have a date night outfit. Wear them with a hoodie and Chucks and you have a weekend uniform. They come in a wide range of sizes (the ends of the spectrum need to be ordered online).
They're the Banana Republic Traveler Jean and no, I'm not getting paid to write this post. Three men's styling clients have purchased these in the last two weeks, and they were already in the closets of a couple other clients. One guy said they're as comfortable as sweatpants. What's not to love?
